In ancient days, people usually worked on the day and went to bed early at night. But as Tomas Edison invented the lights, we can do anything both on the day and at night. Moreover, the transportation becomes much more convenient than before. Nowadays, we can go anywhere we like. And human beings can even travel in the universe.
在古代，人们通常在白天干嘛，晚上早早的就上床睡觉了。但因为托马斯爱迪生发明了电灯，我们可以在白天或者晚上做任何事情。而且，交通变得比以前方便多了。现在，我们可以去任何我们喜欢的地方。人们甚至可以在宇宙中旅行。
However, every stick has twoends. Modernization also comes pollution. Now human beings always throw wastein to our nature. That's why our earth becomes a dirty place.

If we continue to pollute our environment, our earth will be destroyed, so we have to do something to protectour environment. In the first place, we must form a good habit. Don't throw waste everywhere. Second, we had better go to work by bus or by bike, so as to reduce the tail gas. Third, the waste gas and water must be done before they are sent out. What's more, we should plant more trees and grasses to purify theair. At last, the government should make laws to prevent pollution.

Good to Enhance Our Social Experience 增长社会经验
Nowadays,social experience has increasingly been put into a significant position in jobhunting. As the result, some people advocate that college students should enhance their social experience instead of putting emphasis on academic studyonly. And I am in favor of the above view that it is good to enhance our social experience.
如今，社会经验在找工作中已被放在一个越来越重要位置。因此，有些人认为大学生应该加强他们的社会经验而不是只注重学术研究。我同意上述观点，提高我们的社会经验是好的。
There are a few reasons accounting for my opinion. First of all, there is no denying that social experience makes a great contribution to our job hunting because we are usually asked to tell these experiences or information when seeking jobs.In addition, enhancing social experience is a good way to increase our knowledge and broaden our horizon. The more social experience we collect, the easier for us to understand various people and things. What is more, it is also beneficial for seeking our interest and choosing our occupation. These experiences we have collected will offer information and direction for our choice in occupation and friendship establishment.
我的观点的几个原因。首先，不可否认的是，社会经验为我们找工作做出了很大贡献因为在我们找工作的时候经常要求讲述这些经验或信息。此外，增加社会经验是增加我们的知识，开阔我们视野的好方法。我们获得更多的社会经验，我们就更容易了解不同的人和事物。更重要的是，它也有利于我们寻找兴趣和选择自己的职业。我们获得的这些经验在择业和建立友谊中会为我们提供信息和方向。
Therefore,it is good and wise to enhance our social experience. As college students, we should grasp each chance to exercise ourselves and experience various things aswell as try some new things so that we can understand various people and the society better.

什么样的才是好上司? What kind of a good boss?
A good boss is imperative to a successful workplace. The best bosses are serious, creative, and flexible. If a boss lacks any of these qualities, problems are certain to arise in the workplace. While humor and kindness are important characteristics for bosses to have, work is a serious business, and must be approached with a serious attitude. A boss must be able to keep his/her employees working hard and on schedule. He/She must set down rules, enforce them, and also personally adhere to them. If the boss comes in late to work, leaves early, or spends all day joking with the co-workers, then the employees will neither respect nor work hard for him/her. A boss must have a serious and professional attitude that sets an example for all of the employees in the workplace. To confront the countless problems that arise every day in the workplace, a boss must be extremely creative. If a client needs the company to meet a deadline earlier than expected, a boss must find ways to motivate employees to work faster and harder. A boss who lacks creativity might force his/her employees to work overtime. In this case, the employees might be very tired and upset; they might work slower or produce lower quality work as a result. A creative boss might spend a small amount of money, and treat everyone to dinner at the office to encourage employees to stay late. In this way the company might meet the deadline, preserve quality, and keep employee morale high. Finally, the most important quality that a good boss must possess is flexibility. While needing to set serious, strict rules, he/she must also recognize that at times the rules need to be bent or broken. For instance, a boss should strictly enforce attendance policies in the workplace. But if an employee with an excellent attendance record needs to take a day off for personal reasons, the boss should let him/her do it. In this way employees' loyalty to the company will be strengthened, and they will be more happy and productive in the workplace.

It’s our duty to protect he environment. As we all know, with the global warming and energy consumption, the environment is becoming worse and worse. It is very important for us to start with a low-carbon lifestyle. But how can we live a low carbon life? Here are my ideas. Firstly, it is a very good idea for us to go to school on foot instead of by car. It is good for the environment and our health as well. Secondly, remember to turn off the lights, fans and computers when we leave the classrooms. Thirdly, it is important for us to turn off the tap when we finish using the water. We can reuse water, too. For example, we can reuse the water to water the flowers or trees. At last, try to use the cloth shopping bags instead of plastic bags when we go shopping. I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talking about the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life. We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides, because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may run into each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.
我很荣幸能有机会在这里做演讲，和大家谈谈这给我们健康和生活带来不好影响的灰霾天气。我们呼吸这被污染过的空气，让我们遭受肺、肝疾病。另外，由于这天气，航班被迫取消。各种交通工具相撞在一起，造成很大的毁灭和伤害。
As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. As inpiduals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce carbon dioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out the related law on pollution.
